Soulful Making
Soul & Fiber was founded in 2020 by Thao Pham, a Vietnamese Textile Artist.
Soul & Fiber began as Thao embarked on her journey to self-discovery. She soon realized this adventure is not only
to discover the world out there, but more importantly, the world within.​

Thao's work with fiber is the manifestation of her stories - the highs and lows that life offers. Inspirations are taken from the beauty of the lands she has traveled to, the people she has encountered, the everyday life experiences.
Each piece carries a bit of the artist's heart.

Over time, Thao has taught herself a variety of textile techniques, including weaving, macrame, embroidery, crochet, etc.
She uses them as ingredients for her work to create pieces truly and uniquely hers.

The process of creating textile arts is often quite lengthy - from setting up the foundation and preparing materials to applying different techniques.

By using locally sourced materials, Soul & Fiber supports a small community of Vietnamese Textile Artists, with the hope to breathe fresh air into Vietnam’s artisanal heritage and traditional crafts.
