I was born and raised in Vietnam, surrounded by the country’s traditional handmade trades and growing art scene.​

 

My interest in art didn’t come to life until I moved to the US at the age of 17. I studied Fashion Design and Art Direction in San Francisco, CA. I was soon interested in fashion and art, the kind of art that tells stories, and impacts the community.​

I discovered weaving in 2020. I made my first weave on a small wooden framed toy, using leftover yarns in my drawers from years ago. I immediately fell in love with this craft. I slow down in my thought, let my hands and soul guide me through the process. Each piece offers endless possibilities, so much joy, and freedom. The freedom to express that I have been longing for. I discovered the flow.​ 

 

I treat every project as a sacred practice and take it seriously from start to finish. I treasure every moment of experiencing this life - the places I have been to, the people I have met. I revel in the plenty of ideas presented to me and try to incorporate them into my work whenever possible. This journey is the opportunity for me to give some beauty back to this  world.
